Hill, which blower motor? The exhaust inducer or the room air blower? If you are referring to the exhaust blower, check for a restriction in either the fresh air inlet, exhaust pipe or condensate line. If you are referring to the room air blower and you already replaced the motor, it is most likely a relay on the control board. You will need to replace the whole board. More info is always better!

BLOWER MOTOR DOESN'T SHUT OFF

Hello, if the only way to shut off the motor is to turn off the main power then the relay on the integrated control board is faulty. You can try tapping on the relay to turn it off but eventually the board will need to be replaced.

Blower motor will not shut off

Hello, sounds like the relay on the integrated board is sticking. The only option is to replace the whole board.

Hello, sincebthe motor will not run in heating and cooling the first thing to do is check the capacitor, set your meter to ohms and disscharge the capacitor with a screwdriver, if the capacitor is good the meters numbers should ramp up and down, if not the capacitor is bad. To check the motor turn off power to the unit and take you meter and measure from the common wire to each other wire coming from the motor, you should have resistance,if not the motor is bad and must be repalaced. To check the board place one meter lead on the cool/high speed motor tap and the other lead to ground, if therebis no power on a call for cooling the board is bad.

The blower does not turn on, so there is no heat. I don't know if its the blower motor that is out or if it is something else.

Hello. the first thing to check with a multimeter is if you are getting voltage to the motor, you should get 120 volts at the low speed motor tap on the control board and the neutral terminal. If not the control board is bad and must be replaced. If you have 120 volts there then the next thing to check is the capacitor, to check a capacitor you need to discharge it first and then set your meter to OHMS, and take your meter and put each probe of the meter to the capacitor terminals, the numbers on the meter should ramp up and down if not replace the capacitor. lastly if all that check out good then the motor windings are bad and the blower motor will need to be replaced.

I have a model ubhk. the ecm motor comes on and runs for a few minutes then turns off. then repeats the cycle. i have a constant 24 volts to the board.

The ECM motor is hard to diagnose unless you have a teat kit. Turn fan to on position and see if it runs, If it does the same thing bad module. Check all wires going to fab fro loose connections. russ

The model number as listed on the receipt is CKQ24. The Blower moter in the air-handler is not running. When the fan-only switch is turned on, the blower motor will attempt to spin by pulsing for about 2...

Personally I would get an exact replacement capacitor same voltage rating and microfarud rating. The capacitor will read something like 370v 5uf. I would be surprised if that's not the whole problem. If not it needs an exact evaporative fan replacement, and the new Capacitor. Happy cooling!
