this is what I've done to our tv, same problem so I solved it by doing ths : first turn on your tv then let it keep on blinking then directly unplug the tv don't turn off the tv . plug again the tv then you'll see that second red light is not blinking but still it still red light the first one, just unplug it again by not turning off the tv then while unplug click the on off button to off the tv the plug again the tv and turn it on. and finally the red light will turn to green it means the tv is now ok! yehey. sorry for my english I'm notgood speaking english :)
What you see is an indication of some failure inside the board. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.
The TV is going into protection mode. Could be a problem with moisture. Can you try warming up the rear with a hair drier? Ensure that you do not apply too much heat to avoid damage to plastic parts. If you can remove the back cover (after unplugging the power outlet and switching off the TV), try doing in on the entire PCB, if you suspect moisture is the problem. Please do not touch anything in the board by bare hand as there would be high voltage charge in capacitors even after switch off. If it does not work, this might need attention of a qualified service technician
unplug the television...wait 10 seconds and then plug back in....if you listen carefully after 5-10 seconds you will hear a click sound (the same sound that you hear when you turn on or off) ...once you have heard it, turn the TV on again using the remote. Do not turn on until you hear the click. If this does not work, try again but turn the TV on again before you hear the click. I dont know why it happens but it is as if the TV gets confused as to whether its supposed to be on or off. Most of the time, the solution is to turn it on after the click so I would always try that first.
I have this TV. My father in law tried to turn it on one day and it started making a clicking sound and never came on. So he went out and bought a new tv and gave it to me. It came on when I brought it home and worked for a couple weeks. Then just the other day it stopped working. When you hit the power button the light around it blinks four times and then you here a clicking sound. TV does not come on. Took the back panel off and I don't see any damaged caps or fuses.
