Battery is weak. Those lights are really useless...more a marketing gimmick. It almost sounds like it developed a memory...this happens when certain types of batteries are not fully discharged before being placed on the charger. Replace the battery and make sure to follow charging directions for that particular type of battery
Sometimes, the charger will overheat and fail. Try unplugging the charger overnight, plug it back in the next morning, then place the battery in the charger after waiting a few moments. Normally, this will correct the charging discrepancy.
This means you have an air leak somewhere adding more air than fuel with the choke off. With the choke on it blocks off the fresh air coming in and mixes with the maverick air from the air leak. You need to find the leak and fix it or you may damage the unit
I'm having the same problem. Worked great then didn't last as long. Now I'm stuck with this piece of crap useless piece of equipment. I'm back to spending too much time trimming with scissors since I can't afford a new battery non the less a new trimmer. Thanks a lot WORX! It doesn't Work! I'll never buy another of their product!
hello sir, Please provide the following information so that your issue may be diagnosed properly, what is it? brand name, complete model number The problem, What is happening with what? When it is happening? Are there times it does not happen? Did it just start happening? Did it ever work ? Did any seemingly unrelated event coincide with whatever it is not working? need the model number and brand name, if you need a manual i need the brand name and model number,if it is a riding mower the model number is under the seat.a snow blower the model number is on the rear of the machine, let me know, thank you.
Well your battery problem is quite simple. Litium batteries have a life and as the cells deplete, they will not hold as much charge as they once did. The part number for your unit is Worx WA3512.1 and can be purchased for about $53.00. As far as the spool retainer clip is concerned, you will be looking for a hard to find part. Here is the good news, you can purchase a brand new WORX GT WG150.1, which is the model you currently have, for only $95.00 on Amazon. I hope this helps you and let me know if I can be of additional assistance.
Your battery has probably just reached the end of it's service life, or developed a memory after repeated chargeings without being fully depleted. All rechargeable batteries have an average maximum number of duty cycles. (drain and charge) If your charger has a deep cycle feature, try using this to completely drain and recharge the battery. If it doesn't, try putting it in your trimmer and locking the trigger back for a few hours, then recharge it. If neither of these work, it's time for a new battery. If you do get a new battery, be sure to COMPLETELY drain the battery before recharging by locking the trigger back every few uses to avoid developing a memory and help extend the life of your new battery.
That is how you start it. There may be a battery problem, a switch problem or wiring problem. If it worked before, I would work the switch without opening it (just as it should operate) several times. If that doesn't work, make sure the battery is charged and in properly. If that doesn't work it will probably in the wiring. Good luck...Lee
