try with another memoy card, if the problem persist, ask for the manufacturer technical service to fix the problem as it is still warranty covered

your question implies you are recording.
if you are recording from a line in or mic, when you select to record a track a window pops up with a couple of options (radio buttons) in the lower left.
the options offer from project start or current position.

i always select from the start since i only ever record a complete track. however, the selection in the bottom left offer you an opportunity to start recording a track at another point on the time line. (i.e. maybe where the lead guitar comes in)

The Garmin Edge requires that you press the start/stop button to record any data.
1. Before you start riding, press the start/stop button to begin recording.
2. Once you have finished riding, press start/stop button to end recording.
3. Create an account on connect.garmin.com and plug your unit in using the supplied USB cable and download your ride to view details on your cycling session.

This dvd/vcr unit is having a problem with component failure. It is probably in the main power supply section, since the unit shuts down. This can happen in these products due to the qulaity of component use in the product runs. The components usually have 5% to 10% failure rate. Which is usually taken care of by the product warranty. Unfornately this is a common problem with big manufactuers and large production runs. You need to have the unit tested and serviced at a service center. The service center will have all the service information to repair you unit. The Magnavox Customer support telephone is 1-800-605-8453. Tell them the model number of you unit and about the problem with the unit shutting down during use. They will be able to tell how to your unit serviced.
