Go into the menu of the camera and goto the setup option and goto reset and reset the camera with the card in. then go back into the menu and try formatting the card it is located right next to the reset feature hope this helps if it does not work then the memory card reader in the camera is damaged and the mainboard needs replacement. I repair these camera all the time. hope this helps.

Exilim camera memory full when few pictures taken

Have you fitted a memory card?
The camera will only take a few photos using its own memory.
It takes: SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card , SDXC Memory Cards.
If you have fitted a memory card it may be faulty and you will need to buy another.

I have a Casio EXILIM EX-S10 "Memory Full" Error

Firstly, charge your battery fully. This should solve the switching off. It sounds to me like your card isn't in correctly, or is incompatible, and your internal memory is full. (it usually only stores a few photos for emergencies) Have a look at the type of card you have. If it says SDHC, or is 4GB or larger, it is not compatible with your camera and you need to get a 2GB. If not, it may not be inserted correctly. Push it all the way into the slot and it will click when it's in properly. Then try formatting it. Press review (where you look at the photos) and scroll down to setup- then look for 'format' and press okay. This should sort everything out. You can also copy the photos you've taken in the meantime from the memory to the card by pressing copy in the review menu and scrolling to the right. Hope that helps

MY DIGITAL CAMERE MEMORY IS FULL, WHEN I TURN ON MY CAMER IT SAID MEMORY IS FULL. I DON'T HAVE A CARD INSERTED IN BECAUSE WHEN I PUT THE CARD IN IT WON'T COME ON AT ALL. IT ONLY COMES ON WHEN I TAKE OUT OF...

camera's onboard memory is only 8MB, maybe 1 or 2 high resolution photo. delete the photo on the camera to clear error message and use only no more than 2 gig of sd card. It does not work with higher than 2 gig which is SDHC type sd card.

Trying to insert 4 gb memory card

That is correct. The camera was designed to work with MMC and SD cards, 2GB or smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

SD card not working on EX-Z1 Exilim cammera?

Are you sure you have an SD card, 2GB or smaller? The S600 will not work with the higher-capacity SDHC cards.

SD card

It seems that you are using an SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) card. It's incompatible with certain older models of cameras. I think the most you can put in your camera is 2GB. I've done some research and it doesn't say anything about your camera being SDHC compatible. Return the card, get a 2GB.

Camera will not read memory card

Make sure you format your memory card before you try to use it other wise it will save the pics to ur internal memory instead of the mem card.
