I don't think you blew a fuse, or you would not get any light, i think there is a connection problem in the ds unit, try too wiggle the end
and see if the LED light comes on and off, it may need to be re soldered, if thats not the case then an internal port of the connector is broke and you will have to send it in.

Hi,

Mostly the solution to fix this kind of problem is to replace with the new charger(70%)or replace with a new battery(30%).Other than this if you still face the problem then it is the fault of your device and the only solution to fix this problem is to get it repaired or replaced if it is still uder warranty.

Goodluck,
Please don't forget to rate the solution.

Check all the connections, if the Nintendo shuts down itself, and you tested charger and battery, there may be a bad connection or a short inside the nintendo, probably after the display replacement.
For example the lcd conn may have slipped out and now is causing a contact. Attempting to connect the Nintendo to power and turning it on, in this case, may cause further damage.

I would suggest to double check your flex wire connections and make they are connected properly.

My DS Lite wont charge! Help!

Try another charger, yours may be faulty. Alternatively, the battery may need replacing as it is no longer holding charge, these can be obtained very inexpensively from Ebay and you will just need a small cross head screwdriver to remove the cover on the back of the DS lite, then tap the unit in your hand to dislodge and remove the battery.

Nintendo DS Lite won't come on

@JoepIt, you have a defective LCD screen. Could be upper of lower (I thing for 99% the upper).

@pietras1422, on the mainboard next to the power-switch, there is a resistor. If could be loose or is missing completely. Problem will occur when the DS Lite is dropped to the ground

Nintendo dslite wont turn on.tried charging it wit 3 different charges and it still wont charge

Ensure that you are properly recharging the battery.

1. Insert the small end of the adapter into the external extension connector (labeled "5.2V=IN") on the back of the Nintendo DS Lite, just next to the SLOT 1 Game Card opening.

2. Swing the prongs on the AC adapter until they lock into place, then insert it into a standard (120 volt) outlet.

The plug should be mounted vertically or on a floor outlet (such as a power strip).

3. Once the adapter is properly inserted, the unit will begin to charge (the orange charging light will display).

4. Once the DS Lite is fully charged, the orange charge light will go off.

Check the AC Adapter for damage (such as bent prongs or split wires). If you see damage to the AC Adapter, purchase a replacement from Nintendos Online Store.

Try plugging the AC Adapter into another wall outlet. Its possible the outlet is not working properly and has not been charging the Nintendo DS Lite.

If you are unable to get power to your Nintendo DS Lite, despite trying to properly recharge the unit, then your system will need to be repaired.

Nintendo offers convenient repairs, fast turnaround times and, for all systems repaired, a new one-year manufacturer's warranty.

Ds lite charging lite comes on but when i press power button nothing happens

Are you leaving the DS charge until the light comes off? Remember that there are two likes too, one for charging and one for power. If you're just charging for some random period of time (lets say... One hour) then your Battery isn't going to be fully charged. The best way to ensure that your DS Lite is charged is to leave it charge until the charge light turns off. You can play your DS Lite while you are charging (I do it all the time), but it just means that you're just running off of the outlet.

A good test is to charge it fully (until the charge light comes off), unplug the charger cord (Make sure it's secured tightly to your DS while charging), then play for a little bit, your light should be a normal color (green).

If you cannot even play by using the outlet, then you need to
find a charger cord that actually works (You may need to send in the charger for replacement). If the same thing happens with 2 different batteries (assuming that you have two official Nintendo batteries).

TIP: Also run your fingers across the Charger cord. You're going to get a slight friction burn from the rubber, but you're going to get all of the kinks out of the wire in the cord. My charger cord had a similar problem (did not charge all the way, only charged until I moved the DS) but when I ran my fingers across it (pinching) it worked again.

Also check the pins in both charger cords, charging will not work if one pin is missing, nor if any are bent.
