i have just had sky tv installed and its going through my samsung le328r wich i have just bought. when veiwing sk tv i change the contrast brightness and the colour a bit to get the best picture i like but after veiwing sky for 30 mins my picture settings change back to the factory settings why is this?

Looks as if the tv is at fault,stuck in reset mode,call the shop where you purchased it and let them know the fault,they will send an engineer out to sort the problem.
