Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Hi, I took my old sony laptop screen apart as the backlight went.
I put in the new backlight and it solved the problem of the hissing and flickering screen.
But, o dear, now the feed, which was fine before, does not come through.
The feed from the laptop itself is fine, it's just that I have done something to the screen when taking it apart/ reassembling.
All I have now when I switch on is a white screen with a little image of a tab about 1cm long along the the left hand side near the top of the screen.
I've no idea where to go from here as I thought I had put it all back together OK and I have no experience.
Any ideas most welcome.
