My maytag neptune front loader shuts itsself off. It started shutting off at the rinse cycle. Now it shuts off period. Last summer I had to replace the motherboard, controlboard, and something to do with holding the drum up in place etc... I could have bought a new one for what Ive got into this one! I kept listening to the repairman.
PLEASE, can you help me? I cant put another fortune in this one or buy a new one. The numbers on it are MAH3000AWW 37301621WD 120V 60HZ 7A.

The motor is known to have bad windings. Do a search for "Neptune Washer will not start" Also just inside the control panel where the start/stop sw is should be a paper folded with the diagnostics test and schematic. It is tucked under the pressure sw attached to the back. If not there then search "Maytag Neptune motor phase test" There is also a Service Manual FREE at Goetlieh's site.
re original issue, see if R11 is burned. if so, need to change R11 resistor and associated triac, and probably wax motor so it won't do it again. temporary fix just cut out R11, door won't lock. if your model won't spin that way, depress actuator for microswitch from door wax motor. instructions on web.
