Hi Uutoni, here is Acer's web site for the Aspire 3050 notebook's drivers.

http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/forms/AcerDrivers/Aspire%203050.pdf?CFID=560123&CFTOKEN=58284660
There are two different drivers for the 3050 notebook. You'll need your manual to find which if these is for you're notebook.

RealTek Audio Driver v5.10.0.5273
Windows XP
AS5050_Audio.zip

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for Windows Vista
Windows Vista
Realtek High Definition Audio Driver.zip

Here is a second Acer site.
http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_3050.html

Here you can find the needed driver for either Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Luck!
Mike

Hello,
You can download drivers from here to your laptop.

The windows xp driver is on the third page :
RealTek Audio Driver v5.10.0.5273
Windows XP
AS5050_Audio.zip

and the windows vista driver is right below that on the same page:
Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for Windows Vista
Windows Vista
Realtek High Definition Audio Driver.zip

Cheers,
Lolita

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You can start with checking for the most recent BIOS version and sound card drivers, as well as settings in the BIOS, to ensure all is up to date, enabled, and compatible with the OS.

After window xp software installation sound could not be heard.

The software that operates the sound card is not part of the XP program, you must go to the Gateway support site and download the sound card software there, it is free. You look up the needed software by model number.

I am serching a sound driver for my intel celeron

Processors don't need sound drivers, sound cards need sound drivers. That's important to know if your looking for drivers;

You have Vista? Is your sound card a RealTek? If so, HERE'S YOUR DRIVER.

Otherwise, visit the ACER WEBSITE and find the driver for your system.

Sound problem

This is generally a driver glitch. Check the sound or audio drivers in the device manager. If the drivers are missing, you will need to download them from Dell's support site. If they are there, then unistall them and reboot. The machine will find the sound card and reinstall the drivers. Then you may need to adjust the sound settings.

No,unless you want to upgrade your current soundcard i suggest continuing using your current one ..
Your problem is driver related, try installing your sound card drivers again .. if that doesn`t help you could uninstall your webcam drivers,it`s a software related problem so there`s no need for you to buy a new soundcard

Check to see if the sound drive installed properly from the device manager. Try uninstalling the driver and doing a hardware search. Then check the sound settings to make sure nothing is muted or turned down. Some driver need manual adjusting.

No sound

Yes you have to install the drivers for your sound card.....this always happens when you install XP it fails to read what drivers are in your sound card which is on board. Do you have the original drivers do you know the sound card onboard?
