Good morning...........I originally installed/built my current tower computer with an Epox EP-8RD3 motherboard in the Fall of 2003.........replaced the motherboard in Spring of 2008 with an Epox EP-8RD3 Pro motherboard..........at present, the computer turns on off, on off by itself....took this into a shop where they stated it was the motherboard.......anything I can do myself before I purchase something else? Any assistance would be appreciated........thanks. gramarlil

4 DDR modules for DDR 333/400 dual channel architecture
If you have 4 ram slots and only 2 are filled, you just need to match the speed of the two you currently have, they can be any size(500mb, 1gb, etc). I'm not sure you'll be able to find DDR ram anymore though.. and NO you cannot use DDR2 ram.
yeah some hardware designers do that. Unfortunately, if you want that computer to work correctly you will have to buy the necessary drivers. You can try other dodgier routes like finding someone who has the same computer, but this is a) hard, and b) generally not a good idea, particularly if you get them off the internet.
