Question about Motorola Mobility PEBL U6 Cellular Phone
Whenever I make a call I cannot hear the phone ringing or the person on the other end answering unless I put the phone on speaker. Help
This is another one of those problems i just was waiting to hear about.......(sorry about the punn here).
Right, now m seriously thinking that one of your speakers has become faulty, or you have accidently either muted the phone, or there has been a software failure. Two of these problems you can correct yourself if o have the time, skill and the patience, the other problem (software fault) im afraid is a lil more serious and will probably require the phone to be sent away for specialist repair, or to someone who an re-programme phones.
Now if the speaker has blown, you can go to http://www.google.com and get hold of the service sheet for the phone which will give you guides on changing components and repairing your device. If you are going to DIY jobby a repair, then you will need to leg it to maplins electronic store and buy yourself a anti-static wriststrap and then a set of precision screwdrivers for opening mobile phones. They do a set for £10.00GBP specifically for opening mobile phone chassis. The most common tools for this will be a TX6, TX4, TX2, TX1, TX8 and maybe a TX10 (Torx/ star shaped). you may also need a security driver (two pronged screwdriver that looks like half a fork). Like i said, you can get these tools in a set that even has colour coded handles so you know wich ones do which bits, and as stated, itll only cost a tenner, and you get this from maplin.
Dive online and go to any online market (ebay) or phone spares thingy place, and you can get yor bits, bobs and parts from there too. Nice and cheap and will do the job just nice.
Well I hope this all works out for you, and pleae feel free to contact me at any time if you require any further assistance on this or any other matter
If it is your phone settins tat have played up here, yo can just restore your phone back to original actory settings and this should wipe anything that has caused your phone to act so weirdly, but do remember to back up all your names, addies and numbers in case it wipes them too.........as for a software fault though, i have dawn a blank on that though, although i will keep thinking about this for you.......take care
