Firstly, we need to ascertain what version of windows (if you use this) you are using, and whether your product you are using is recommeded for the operating system you are using. If your product was made before the release date of your latest installed operating system, then you will need to go to http://www.belkin.com and download their latest driver and/or patches fr the device. Once you have done this, you install the device drivers FIRST, then afte this you connect the device to your laptop/ computer in question. You will then need to "pair" the device to the USB transceiver (stick, or box that came with yor wireless set) and this is usually done by pressing the button on the underside of the mouse/ device, and then within 5-10 seconds, pressing the button on the USB transceiver. If in doubt about the pairing action, best to consult the user manual, or visit http://www.belkin.com for your instruction manual. you can also try google for both the device drivers and the manual for using this equipment.
