When cleaning the rational combi steamer without tablets then don't work any option

No, you have to use the tablets. They are block oven cleaner and highly caustic. You could spray with Easy Off, leave a few hours and run the cleaning program. One of the great things about the Rational Oven is that it cleans itself spotlessly like brand new. I did ours every Sunday night at 11:00pm, 1 Red Round Tablet and 3 Blue rectangular tablets. Set to heavy soil, next day it was like new. When I retired, I took a video of it to remind me how neat it was.

How does the self-clean feature work on a Frigidaire CFEF366EMB model?

Hi Beverly,

I understand that you are looking to run your self-clean feature on your Frigidaire range, model# CFEF366EMB.

-To start this you will remove all racks and make sure that any excessive spillovers are cleaned up as best as you can.
-Next you will press the "Clean" button, and the display will show "---".
-Press the up or down arrows to select the length of time you want the oven to clean. Usually 2 or 3 hours.
-The door will automatically lock once your time has been chosen and the "LOCK" indicator light will flash. DO NOT open the door while the light is flashing. (it takes about 15 seconds for the oven door to lock).
-"Cln" will appear in the display during the self-clean cycle and the "LOCK" light will continue to glow until the self-cleaning cycle is complete or cancelled and the oven has cooled.

When the self-clean cycle has completed:
-The time of day or "END" will appear in the display window and the "Clean" and "LOCK" light will continue to glow.
-Once the oven has cooled down for about 1 HOUR and the "LOCK" light has gone out, the oven door can be opened.
-If "END" is in the display and the Clean indicator light remains ON, press the "CLEAR/OFF" button and the time of day will appear on the display.
-When the oven is cool, wipe away any residue or powdered ash with a damp cloth or paper towel.

-Best Regards-

try turning your breaker off for 20 minutes, then try it again,, if this does not help it could have burnt out a element or the main board has went out,,, also make for sere you are getting the full 220 volts to the unit,, this will involve taking the unit out

My Whirlpool oven stopped heating. The control panel works/lights up. When you turn on the bake oven and start it appears to be working and you can feel the a motor running however neither of the elements...

There is a thermal fuse mounted on the back of the oven that feeds power to both elements. This fuse has open up. The control panel gets power via a different path and still lights up.

Self cleaning won't shut off

that is because it needs to cool down before the oven will unlock. There should be a timer running and when it gets to "zero" it should unlock.

Hotpoint Self Cleaning Oven

the oven has a feature where you set the time for it to begin cleaning and the time for it to end cleaning.
Next to the clock in the middle of the back are two dials. The top one is the start time, the bottom one is the end time.
I suggest 2 hours to allow a good cleaning.
The locked light will turn off when the cleaning is done, allowing you to open the locking lever.
