Why does my Dell Optiplex GX620 Randomly lag? the whole system will lag like the mouse and sound and how can i fix it?

Computers do slow down with age, not becuase the hardware is worn out but becuase the OS gets slow. Not sure why.

You could try a clean install of your operating system, that always works. If you still have a problem then you know its your hardware.

Before you proceed with that cehck to see you have all the right drivers for everything, and run a virus check using kapersky virus removal tool.

My Vaio wont start- I have tried rebooting a few times and its not working. What can I do?

That you have rebooted the desktop several times is indicative of your computer ability to power on. However, you are probably not able to load windows. There are several issues that can yield this result. 1. Windows is corrupt and needs to be reinstalled 2. The boot order in the system BIOS is set incorrectly 3. Your Memory Chips are bad 4. Your processor has died. 5. Your video card or onboard Graphic chip is bad. 6. The capacitor that regulates the power to the onboard graphic chip is bad. Any of the above can yield the result you are confronting.
Enjoy the power of a PC.

Tried in Safe Mode Windows? Worst case is the shut it down, straighten a small paper clip, push it into the small hole on the surface of the DVD-ROM cover (It's a standard to have one). It should eject!
If system will not eject the CD due to a software locked it down, please list softwares the XPS have installed.

I have a acer aspire 5100 and there is a crack on the screen, a friend of mine gave me a 15.4" screen from another acer (can't remember which model?) but the plugs you connect them up with wont fit my...

This is what one calls a potential 'can of worms.'
It could require a great deal of connector swapping and it isn't likely that Acer will allow you to access the necessary circuit diagrams to even make this possible.
It is highly unlikely that you can simply procure and install any kind of 'adaptor' and without knowing having the circuit diagrams, you are facing a near impossible task.
The backlight of an LCD screen uses high frequency, high voltage to supply the fluorescent tube(s) that provide light.
Incorrectly connecting lines could result in damage to both you laptop and/or the circuits contained in the LCD body.
