I think there was one more virus called smss.exe with those 1 s in your system have a check ...
i think now also smss.exe file is attacked by virus in your system ...
those are trojan viruses ....
if you delete those ones also it will not go .... it will just multiply ...
if you insert pen drive in to pc then that virus will get attacked to your pen drive too ...

download some good trojan remover and then remove all viruses ...

some operating system files have got corrupted just reinstall the windows XP ...
make reinstall after removing virus only ...
or if you have the linux live cd then boot from that cd then delete those files and then reinstall XP ..

you cant install the office update from microsoft site because the microsoft office & windows you are using is not the genuine version so microsoft allows to download and apply the updates for the genuine users ....
download some good antivirus like kasperky, norton, mcaffe and install it

any doubts reply me
i am always here to assist you
thank you
bye

I am having a INTEX IT 305WC webcamera of 2005 model. It runs well on windowsXP till a few days back.. I installed now windows 7. Now I cannot instal the web cam. Maybe the drivers are to be updated....

I found this, maybe it will help you.

Hey, Intex web cam (in my case IT - 305WC) can work on Windows 7 if you download camsplitter software. After installation select camsplitter as an option for setup video source. Now if any settings are required (for example doing video conferencing in skype) then select camsplitter as webcam instead of VIMICRO or Avermedia.
This has solved my problem and hopefully it will solve yours also. Download camsplitter at http://download.cnet.com/CamSplitter/3000-2348_4-10276275.html or other websites.

Good afternoon Laveda,

I have two fixes for you to try,

1. Right click the wireless icon in your task tray (bottom right of the screen). Select REPAIR from the pop up list. The wizard will run through it and you will hit finish or close at the end. Try Internet Explorer.

If that doesn't work...

2. Open Internet Explorer. From the File menu, Select Tools. Select Internet Options from the bottom of the drop down list. Select the Connections tab across the top. Click the LAN Settings button torwards the bottom. Make sure that "Automatically Detect Settings" is checked and nothing else. Close Internet Explorer, reopen Voila.

I hope this helps you out. Have a good day.

Need ur valuable remedy

It is a virus definitely. I have a friend who had the exact same problem with Vista on his Sony Vaio laptop. Lucky for him it was under warranty, and he was able to get it replaced. It is definitely a virus. Mozilla doesnt shopup and IE7 having problems connecting to any site.

I recommend that you try this online utility to scan for malware, virus, adware, etc:
http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/
I generally run my antivirus and Syware remover software on a daily basis, and thought my system was clean. However, I chanced upon this site and simply did a scan (its FREE!!) and it found 2 trojans, 3 malware and a host of other stuff. I really recommend you try it..its FREE after all :)

If that doesnt resolve your issue, I recommend doing a system restore. there is no other way.

Hope you rate this solution as Fixya. I would greatly appreciate your show of gratitude.

Cheers!

Hi friend,

Yes it is a virus. do one thing do a system restrore. But take all the backup first because once you do a system restore it will restore you PC to earlier time and all the data will erased.to do a system restore go to start>programs>all accessories>system tools>system information.

If you don't want to do a system restore then just remove the firefox and run a virus scan.Kaspersky is waste use bit defender and spyysweeper both to remove all the viruses.

Goodluck..
