Any final decision on dealing with the RCA/GE ITC222 chassis blinking problem?

I have seen your posts in both GE and RCA forums about the "no video/no audio" but have the on/off LED blink slowly 3 times and then go off.

I have also asked the FIXYA website team to allow you "GURU"'s to combine similar issue together in a thread so we dont have 80 threads/issues when there might only be 6 or 7. I hope they can help you on that.

- I replaced the flyback from http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/ and tv came back on. I got the manual and began an advanced convergence function found here http://home.austin.rr.com/doctorjoe/

almost back to 100%!!!

-   Hey Guys,

Assuming you have the same set D52GW12 and the same exact problem as me I am hoping that this will work for me as well. Can you tell me the part number of the flyback that you picked up? Is flyback a solderless part? Should take care with the Capacitors?

Thats usually a flyback issue with Thomson. Thats a good suggestion with combining threads. I have often thought it would be great if we could have a way to list fault by Chassis . So people could go to their models look up the fault/ sympton and see the diagnosis for that sympton. Thanks for your input pete, and let me know if you need more help.
