In a nutshell it is hard to say for 100% certain without the model number from the motherboard.
If it is even remotely recent, then it will be no problem at all. Anything from the last few years is safe.

If you mean you want to replace DDR RAM with DDR2 or DDR3 RAM, that is impossible. MBs are designed for one type and the sockets themselves are keyed differently and use different voltages.

How much Hard disk my motherboard D845GVSR will support.

There's not really a limit to how big a harddisk you can support. The only thing that can restrict you is the connection, because, for obvious reasons, you can't connect a SATA disk to an old IDE board, but it seems like you're aware of that.

You can just buy any SATA HDD you want!

My mainboard is "Intel(R) Pentium 4 2.66GHZ 2.67GHz, 192MB of RAM." i want to upgrade RAM(DDRII(2GB)) and HDD(IDE((500GB)).Is my Mainboard support or not?

Your motherboard can support only DDR RAM not DDR 2.
You can upgrade it to 2gb that's fine.

And your motherboard can also support another Hitachi (500GB) IDE hard disk.

Upgrade Hard Disk Space

Hard disk and ram are totally different. You can put whatever sixze hard drive you want to on your system. Just jumper it as the slave drive. As for the RAM, go to tigerdirect.com and use their ram calculator for your SPECIFIC computer.

Vista compatiable

intel doesnt list any vista drivers for that motherboard on there site so you might run into problems with the intergraded devices such as the ethernet, audio, chipset, & any intergraded video

You might be able to use the xp drivers but if theres problems it wouldnt be supported by intel
