How do I set up my scanner to scan multiple pages at once, without having to keep hitting the scan button. ( fi-6140 )

Hi, are you using Scannedallpro software? If so, press the batch scan setting button (2nd right after the white drop down menu). This will give you access to your settings. Select add, name your new profile appropriately, then select SCAN, Click SHOW CONFIRMATION WHEN NO PAPER IN ADF, then click on Detail Scanner Settings. This will take you to your options screen. Select either Duplex, for double sided or ADF Front side for single sided. You can choose to drop out blanks by clicking on the OPTION button at the bottoms of the screen, then JOB/CACHE, click the selection button for Blank Page Skip and choose the sensitivity. (I usually use a low setting). Click OK.
when happy with your settings click OK again, then apply.

Use your new profile to batch scan. The system will scan until the hopper is empty and should ask if you want to continue with the same batch scan, allowing you to add paper until the job is complete.

NB Always ensure you have selected Multi Page Tagged Image File Format as the system will not save your scan as one document without it.

Hope this helps!

Pandigital mini photo scanner pictures have white lines on them

have a pandigital scanner that worked great for about 500 pics then lines stared to show up, tried cleaning and calibrating but did not help, decided to take apart and found that the glass on the surface of the scan part was dirty, cleaned the glass and put back together works perfect, took about 10 minutes to fix

Color is faded on one side when scanned

Apparently you might need to because scanners are most times not reserviceablw when problems of faded output and discolouration is evident.

Properly clean the surface of the scanner and leave your scanning image application to default settings

I cannot find the scans.

Try using the software provided by canon in your scanner. Set thru that, the path to store the pics at your convenience. Normally if you go to My PC and double click you will see the scanner (icon). Just simply select the icon (left click) and then right click to select the command that you want.

The scanner copies three photos as one

Assuming you're using the Epson Scan software, select Home or Professional mode and click Preview. When the preview image appears, draw a marquee around each of the three photos. (Note that as you draw each marquee the number beneath the little image of a marquee - the white square with the dotted line around it - increases.) After drawing your marquees, click the All button, then click Scan. The scanner should make three separate passes in succession, producing three separate images.

HOW TO GET FROM 35mm COPYING TO REGULAR COPYING

Configure your scan buttons in the bottom right corner of your screen (when you click on the scan icon in taskbar). This will help you to go back where you want to be. You may find it easier to use XP's inbuilt scanning facility instead or scan via Photoshop.
