Question about Bosch Refrigerators
First pull out the ice bucket and close the door. Set for cubed ice. Press the button for ice to come out and listen for a loud clunk noise. That is the sound of the solenoid. You can open the door, hold the light switch and press the button and watch for the solenoid moving up and down. Solenoid is at the back of the freezer in a little square opening where the rod on the ice bucket goes into. If that solenoid is moving ok then put the bucket back in while the solenoid is in the down position and cubes should work. If solenoid is not working then it will need to be replaced. Let me know what you find.

I'm assuming you are saying there is no ice and water being dispensed, but that the ice maker is producing ice.
Actual ice maker operation is independent of the fountain which is for dispensing only.
The power is checked at the fountain board on wires Red/Black and White. The door must be closed when doing this check as power goes through the door switch. If no power is present, check the same wires at the connector under the upper door hinge cover.
The next check would be Red/Black to Blue while depressing the actuator pad button.
Outputs off the board are Pink to auger motor, Black to fountain water valve, other Black to fountain light, Violet to cube solenoid, the two brown wires go to the ice chute door solenoid.
The ice maker can be checked by removing the plastic cover up front. Check test points L to N for 120VAC. Short test points T and H to cycle the ice maker. Make sure it does not have ice or water in the mold already, or it will run over.
Of course last but not least, check water to the refrigerator. It is a dual valve and unlikely both solenoids could fail at the same time.

Ok, I show parts that are available for that model, sounds like the control board is defective for your dispenser, or possibly the Ice maker control board. It also could be a break in the wiring or the control itself. Below is a break down for those parts, wiring and the control behind the push to dispense ice or water. Hope it is not that control because some places don't provide that part. Now if it's a connection problem that we can find, I will do mu best to help you solve this.Could you insure the model number is correct as this is very important? email@example.com

To fix it turn your freezer temp higher, it shouldnt be below -16 if it is, the water freezes and then you dont get any water, the best thing to get your water flowing again it turn off the freezer and leave the door open for a few hours so the ice that has formed in the water pipe can melt, worked on my samsun fridge/freezer

I had the same problem with our Whirlpool Gold. Which by the way was just out of warranty. The guy who repaired the problem told us that since there were so many replacement dispenser motors at different supply locations that there must be a problem. I think that the root cause is the arm in the ice holder is hard to move, and it burns the dispenser ( #2252130) motor out. Whirlpool should get to the bottom of this and offer free or reduced repairs. Motor # 2252130

Hello Jim czyryca - From what you are describing if the ice maker is not making ice but is dispensing water, sounds like the refrigerator has a frozen water line, faulty ice maker valve or bad component that sends power to the ice maker valve when needed. The ice maker cycles internally to call for water so I strongly suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately to assist with the repairs.
