Question about Computers & Internet
I just got DSL installed by my local telco. They installed the Comtrend
CT-5621T Multi-port ADSL2+ Router. It currently is functioning in bridge mode but I want to use it as a router as well, but when I access the ebadmin page i am prompted for a username/password, the manual says defaults are root/12345, but that doesnt let me in. ISP doesnt know why and is of no help. I even reset the unit back to defaults and still same issue. I can view the status information on the webadmin page but cannot make any configuration changes. I am a network administrator with 9 years experience and I am at a loss for the solution. I have tried any and all variations of default logins for all type routers I have used before. CAn anyone explain this to me, whas the issue?? I personally thing its the ISP that has changed something in teh settings but they just started putting these devices in homes and the support does not even have a clye about them. Any help is appreciated.
I hate this router. user user worked for mine.

Hey you got your complaints
talk to the person who did the initial configurations.
press and hold on for four seconds for the router to restart back to its default then you can login

Do you have other wireless internet system in your area?
sometime they fight each other, I had netgear wireless and Linksys wireless for my internet. Because my business I added AT&T DSL high speed, as soon as AT&T instelled the unit, My wireless cable phone system and internet, both cut off, sometimes work but sometimes not, I just cancel AT&T DSL last month.
This is my own opion, maybe I am wrong.

Tips for a great answer:
You can forward ports automatically, solve stability issues and prevent unauthorized wireless usage with Router Commander program. You can download it from softpedia.com for free.
