Solve x^2-22x=10

Just complete the square
x^2-22x-10=x^2-2(x)*11+11^2-11^2-10=(x-11)^2-121-10=(x-11)^2- 131.
Use the identity a^2-b^2=(a-b)(a+b) with a=(x-11) and b= square root (131)
Solutions are x1= 11 + square root (131) and x2=11-square root (131).
By the way, the calculator you are refer to cannot perform symbolic algebra calculations.

What do symbols on top mean?

Welcome to Fixya

Half circle symbol means printer is in ready state. The printer control panel is comprised of six lights and two buttons. The lights produce patterns that identify the printer status.

1 Jam light: Indicates that there is a jam in the printer.
2 Toner light: When the print cartridge is low, the Toner light illuminates. When the print cartridge is out of the printer,
the Toner light blinks.
3 Paper out light: Indicates that the printer is out of paper.
4 Attention light: Indicates that the print-cartridge door is open or other errors exist.
5 Ready light: Indicates that the printer is ready to print.
6 Go button and light: Initiates action or indicates status.
7 Cancel button: To cancel the print job that is currently printing, press the Cancel button.

I need help with square root functions

Hello,
The square root has a dedicated key sequence [2nd][V square root symbol]
Square root of 21.2846 is entered [2nd][V square root] 21.2846 [ENTER] .
The result is`4.614.
I suspect you want to calculate the 4th root of 21.2846. If it is the case you enter that as
21.2846 [^](1/4) =2.148
Square root can be also entered as [^](1/2)
Cube root is entered as [^] (1/3)

..
nth root is entered as [^](1/n)
Hope it helps.

How can igo by hooking up a canon printer to the computer

Do you have a USB to Peripheral cable? It should look like the photo and have one square end and one rectangular end.  The rectangular end goes into one of the computer's USB ports, marked by the usb symbol (a large circle branching into a small circle, triangle, and square) which can be viewed on the rectangular end of your USB to Peripheral cable.

The square end goes into the printer, marked by the same symbol.
