Nero 6 wont load in win ME, it has done so before with no problem

Windows XP is the most compatible for all software installations , check the software version that you installing and also check that if all the files downloaded properly if you got the software from the internet. Service pack 2 is the best.

Aspire One netbook BSoD

Those error codes don't really mean very much to the general consumer, but blue screens of deaths are caused by bad RAM memory in your computer, not viruses. I'm going to take a guess that your computer is either several years old and/or it constantly get quite warm? Heat can shorten the life of computer components by quite a bit. You may need to get one of your RAM cards replaced to solve this issue.

There's a free program called Memtest86 that you can run to determine if this is the case. It will scan all your memory and look for bad sectors. You can download it here: http://www.memtest86.com/ and burn it to a CD. What it does is create a bootable CD that will execute the program as the computer turns on to scan all the memory. There are full instructions on their website. The process can take an hour or two depending on how much memory your computer has, and if it turns up any bad sectors then you know what your problem is.

A computer can run with bad sectors in the memory, but it makes it unstable that it will keep bluescreening, so if you have bad sectors in your memory it might be better just to replace the RAM. Luckily, this isn't too expensive. For instance, if your computer has 4GB of memory, it probably has 2 2GB RAM cards installed. You can get a 2GB replacement notebook memory for, I'd say $30 or $40. Installing RAM is very simple, and if you're willing to install it yourself, it won't cost you more than that.

Windows xp2 installation problem

Try reformating it and install Win XP again and see if you have same problem. If you then try to get copy of Win XP SP3 and try installing it see if it works. If you still have hang up problem try running chkdsk r.....it will fix errors on the disk and will attempt to recover bad sectors on your hard drive if any are detected!
I know of 2 ways to run chkdsk r....easier way is using your Windows Xp disc! If you still get hang ups then it might be a hardware issue!

Hi, I have used printmaster premier 7.0 for a few years on my old computer and have loved the program. The problem I am having is I bought a new computer that runs windows 7. I tried to install printmaster...

Hello,

the problem is that windows 7 is not compatible with Print-Master premier 7.0

The program cannot run on windows 7 because it wasn't programmed for it. This is why the error message comes up.

There is nothing you or anyone can do about this.

Sorry about this.

Regards.

I have a medion driver disc for windows 7 upgrade kit. When i try to install it no instructions appear just 7 programs : Chipset, Raid, TV Tuner, WLan, Lan, Sound & VGA how do I install windows 7 ?

Did this come with your computer or did you purchase it from somewhere? This doesn't install Win 7, just the drivers after the upgrade. If you purchased this cd, the drivers are only good for a Medion computer.

Laptop powers on, but windows doesnt load

Boot PC from Windows XP installation CD you will be ask to instal fresh copy or repair existing installation - go for "fresh copy" software will analyze you PC and try to find your previous copy of Win XP you will be ask again to repair copy of your existing Windows Xp now go for "Repair" option so installation software restore all Windows files and will keep all your settings*.
This solution is only temporary because IE 7 and 8 will no longer work after restoring - backup all your data and instal fresh copy of Win XP after all and always keep Your Backup up to date!!

Computer doesnt recoginze port

Hi, It might be a good idea to completely uninstall the printer from your computer altogether, also unplug it and then restart your PC. Then shut it back down and then plug the printer back in and restart. Are you using Windows XP if so the PC should see the printer when it boots and will require instalation. Please note if your printer originally required you to first install the software before attaching the printer to the PC then you should follow the original instalation requirements. Let me know how you go.
