the game resolution is not supported by your monitor....this is the reason your screen goes blank....
by the next time if the screen goes blank,
press alt+ctrl+del together and check are you able to see the task manager....
if you can see the task manager, then close the game from that window by selecting end task....
if you cant see the task manager, then press ctrl+alt+del together 2 times and check....
if nothing works, then try by checking with any HD monitors if available with you or with your friends...
Insert the startup disk you created during Windows setup into the floppy drive and
press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart your computer. This will automatically diagnose your system and make necessary fixes. However, if the diagnostic utility still reports a problem, then you may have to perform the recovery process to restore your system to its original default factory settings.
Note: For more information about recovering your system, refers to the RCD instruction sheet.
Use the CTRL-ALT-ARROW combination to flip the screen around. This is a problem that occurs when someone goes to press ctrl-alt-del and hits an arrow by mistake and does not realize it. I work the help desk in the I.T. department at a major hospital in south Alabama and several of the users have had this problem with Windows XP. You may have to try different arrows until you get the screen turned right side up.
Are you using the nVidia GeForce GO 6150 video card? If this is the case, and I'm pretty sure it is, the NV driver is not being recognized and the system is starting in VESA.
On the nVida, HSYNC/VSYNC frequencies need to be specified, after that the MIXIMUM resolution of 1280x800 should work for you.
