If you cannot print more than 1 copy, click on...

Start -> Control Panel -> Printers -> Right click on HP 1320 printer icon -> Properties -> Device settings -> Disable mopier mode (last option)

This worked for an HP 1300, 1320 and as well as an HP P2015d using the HP 1320 driver.

Reinstall the software
If the printer does not print the number of copies as instructed or does not print at all at times or take a long time to print, try changing the USB cable to a new one

Are the cartridges HP original and new or are they refilled/compatible? I am familiar with the error you are encountering and typically see it when low cost re-fillers sell product that they have not tested. As the owner of a Cartridge World store I can tell you one of the reasons we more expensive than on-line retailers is the high cost of equipment we have to ensure our consistent quality. If the cartridges are HP original then I would return them to where ever you bought them and have them exchanged, if they were from a questionable refiller, do not use them again.

Printer will not print more than one copy even though I have selected more than one.


Press the 'copy' button to change the printer from 'fax' to 'copy' first, then enter the number of copies you require, then press start - if you enter the number of copies when the printer is still on 'fax' and then change to 'copy' the number of copies will reset to '01' (this is to stop you printing a telephone number of copies by mistake).

Our 1320c prints 3 copies only,Any thoughts why?


Check the paper format of the program and the paper format of the printer.
If there is a mismatch only 3 pages come out.
Solution: the paper size should be matched other wise the printer gets confused.

How to set a printer to print only 1 copy no matter what # is put


You cannot do it -- when you request '3' copies, the computer sends 3 times as much text & commands to the printer. So, the printer cannot tell when the 2nd and 3rd copy begins.

Instead of pressing the start button to print, you need to press the small ON/OFF button. The start button works to copy/scan. But to print, you will need to turn the printer on first. Once the printer is on, the computer should recognize it fine and allow you to print from your applications.
