Question about Mitsubishi WD-52627 52" Television
My tv is about 2 1/2 years old. I have replaced lamp once so I am familiar with the bulb failures. The problem I am having now is, periodically, when the tv is turned on, a buzzing/crackling type of sound comes from the back of the tv and the lamp will fail to light up. Sound will be fine and the tv will shut down after a minute of no picture. Sometimes when the lamp fails to come on after the buzz, hitting the on button again will bring on the picture (no buzz). This is completely random. I have looked behind the tv when the buzz sound is present and I can see a light (not a spark but flickers with the buzz) from inside the vents up and to the right of where the lamp housing is. Do you have an idea what the problem is?
