Convergence board i have a 48 " samsung projection i am being told that there is a convergence problem my question is where is the convergence board at so i can replace it

The tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.Tv have colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadows pictures or 3D pictures look alike?The tv convergence board have dead 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead too.These parts on the tv convergence board,must be replaced to solved pictures convergence problems.The shop,will cost u like $300-$350 for parts and labors.

Must know basic soldering and have tools like soldering iron,a desoldering pump or desoldering witchs to replaced parts on the tv convergencce board.U have none of these tools devices and never solder bsfore,better hire the tv tech. to do the job.Cost estimate 300-350 for parts and labors.Tries wesite like Tvrepairworld.com,Tvrepairkits.com to buy a whole convergence kit,to do it ur self,if u can?

In the menu do the auto convergence. If still bad replace the convergence ics. Also check resistors around the ics. You can remove the front grill and access the conv board from the front. Small board on the right. It popps out.

You have convergence circuit failure. Convergence IC's have to be replaced and probably some PICO fuses that soldered on the same board. This repair require good soldering skills.

convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK-392-120 IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually charge between $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks!

No that is not correct
The problem you describe is a convergence issue which can be quite costly. The alignment alone is very complicated and more importantly time consuming

This convergence board problem seems to be very common and if they are not too model specific (firmware embedded) there may be service companies repairing them. I don't; haven't done a whole lot of service for years partially due to the difficulty of trying to pry stuff out of the hands (or shelves) of Asia.

Its located in the front behind the speaker panel there s a nother small access panel the convergence board is right there on the right hand side up front.

Sounds like a convergence board problem. Cheapest fix is probably to replace the convergence board, or the tv itself.
