Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Tom tom wont turn on

Test your Power Cable for Voltage Out. If it is working properly, then your TOM TOM bit the dust but I am thinking that you are out of Power and will not turn back on unless you get her charged up.

If it is charged up, then PUSH and HOLD the POWER BUTTON for 30 Seconds and this is how you RESET the GPS.

If resetting does not work, and you have Power. Time to get a new GPS. Sorry

We have a household extension cord connected to our battery, starter and a push-button near the stearing column. Dead as a door nail. But we finally found the connectors to the push buttion were hot...

Hi, I would like to help you, but I cannot tell from what you have said what is connected where. Do you have a big battery cable going from the battery positive to the big terminal on the starter solenoid? Do you then also have a wire from the battery positive to the toggle switch and a another wire from the toggle switch to the small start terminal on the starter solenoid? I don't understand why you are connecting anything to the negative terminal, as that is not necessary.

My tom tom keeps switching off as tho out of power even tho plugged in. the charger gets extremely hot as does the wire, any suggestions? it is about 3 years old

You need to plug your TOM TOM into a PC with Internet connection and go to the tomtom web site:
You will need a usb cable that has the "mini" usb standard connector that plugs into the TOM TOM unit. It should update automatically, but you will need a TomTom Home account (free) created. Then you can download the latest updates that should clear up the power issues. Otherwise, get a new power cord as they do wear out with daily use. -Greg

No heat in dryer model # 96591420

Check the following to address this issue.

1. No power to the dryer
Make sure there's power getting to the dryer. Check for tripped circuit breakers or blown fuses. An electric dryer uses two circuit breakers or fuses, and if only one of two is tripped or blown, the dryer might still run but not heat. Sometimes the power cord disconnects or burns at the dryer, if this is the case, the wiring and the terminal block must be repaired or replaced.

2. Heating element
A burned out heating element will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Replace the element if found defective.

3. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

My Kenmore electric dryer won't start... I just ran it and it ran fine. Went to start a new load and it wouldn't work. Checked breaker, plug and door switch; everything seems okay

eazy first.need 220 if got, door switch it wiil click when check where cord attaches.then the thermoal fuse.if has back panel or no same info.i call them missiles or flying saucers[thats what they look like].there white small have two wires to them.if you put the two wires too gether and isolate them,if problem your dryer will start, replace, but its a thermal fuse so the idea is if it gets to hot they open to stop fires,so mcheck all venting and dryer air waysGod is good, tom

Dryer gets hot and a fuse keeps burning out model number le577oxwno

If you are referring to the FUSE in your house service panel and that IT keeps blowing, then you may have a loose cord wire at the dryer or mating receptacle. Always remove or disable power form these wires BEFORE performing any service. If you can extend the dryer away from the wall and examine the terminal block where the cord ( with ring lugs) is tied to it..check for any sign of carbon ( which would indicate a high impedance junction) meaning that it will get hot and may cause a fire.. Remenber, always remove or disable power from this circuit prior to working on it.. Good luck.. and hope this helps..

To much voltage put into tom tom.smell of burning

when you plug in the normal cigarette liter into the socket does it pop up hot? if so I suggest trying to replace the power cord to the tom tom. your car only puts out 13.8 volts. any more than that the fuses would blow.

Ricoh 1027 copier no powew at all

The problem may be one of the internal fuses. Whip the side panels off (with the machine unplugged of course) and check the fuses on the power supply boards.
