Won't power up

The computer is just dead. When it is plugged in the little green light is on but it won't power up. No sound or anything. Same when just using the battery.

The Toshiba Satellite A135-S2276 is a laptop. As I stated, it wont turn on with or without the auxillary power supply. With the auxillary power supply (plugged in) the little green light comes on showing it gets power (I assume) but it just has a blank screen and there's no sound or anything.

I have the toshiba Satellite A135 laptop and i can't get it to turn on neither... the blue on light button lights up but nothing else seems to work....no sound, no display...nothing....I tried unplugging the power cord, then pulling out the battery then re plugging the power cord but that didn't work either.....what do you have for a solution that can fix this problem???

I was ripping a store bought music CD and then locked my computer. When i came back an hour later it had a blank screen. Now when i power it up the screen is blank and the Hard Drive light comes on for about a second then goes off. The computer will not load up. The CD-RW/DVD-RW drive light stays on and will not eject the CD tray.

How do you reset the CMOS?

When you power on the laptop, see whether you can eject the cdrom drive unit. if not, then you need to reset the CMOS.

When i turn on my Dell Inspiron 2400 Desktop Computer why won`t it start.

Is the computer plugged in to a known good power source with a known good power cord? Also, make sure the power is fully seated on both ends. When you press the power button are you getting any indicator lights? The power button itself has an LED that will be either solid green, blinking green, solid amber, blinking amber, or off. Do you hear any beeps?

Hot tub won't start

More info needed.

I have had many hot tubs and had to fix them all.

First check:Plugged in, right? Is the GFI tripped?

Is there power on the HT control panel? little red or green lights, lcd display info, anything? Look up any codes you find.

After that little inspection, a number of things can go wrong. First Unplug the unit, then Open her up and look for any sort of anomaly. Photograph and post what you find.

My little buddy won't turn on, it's charged, plugged into computer. green light won't come on at all. I held the power button on for 10 -15 sec with no response.

I have 2 of these devices. Try using a cellular phone charger with the same plug at the end and plug it in. I have waited 5-10 minutes after doing this and they have come back to life and turn on. Maybe it will work for you.

E system 1212 Laptop won't switch on. Power

Laptops are so integrated that usually a system failure that involves power issues such as in your case where you cant get it turn on with anything on the screen mean the mainboard (motherboard) is damaged. This usually leads to buying a new laptop or paying for the board to be replaced which usually costs as much as the laptop.

ALIENWARE DESKTOP LOST ALL POWER

In a laptop, you can lose power in three ways.
1. Dead battery 2. Dead Power cord. 3. Bad motherboard.
ther first two should be rather obvious, as the battery won't work or it won't hold a charge, but if it won't turn on at all, even while plugged in, chances are that you're going to need a new motheboard. This can be expensive in the M--x laptops, unfortunately.
Sorry for the bad news, mate.
