Trying to find out how to calibrate my stick to control jetfighter v. homeland protector and combat flight simulator 3. battle for europe
Saitek aviator AV8R.
I have a problem with y axis, it's not on the centre. I tried calibrate my joystick, but no chance. I reinstalled my joystick and a first time was ok, but bery short. This is a big problem for my flight simulator! How can I calibrate my new joystick, and where can I find this options. Help me please!
I had the same problem.
Unplugging the joystick and plugging it back again seemed to fix it for me.
Don't know whether it will work each time.

Well.. if you have windows xp.. then you can calibrate your controller fairly easily.
Go here:
Control panel:Printers and Other Hardware:Game Controllers:(your controller should be in the list):Advanced:Calibrate

i have a problem where my saitek av8r-01 joystick is uncalibratable and tried everything, i got the programming software and it doesnt have a calibration option or anything and my x and y axis are way off and when i try to fly my plane does a fricking spiral nose dive please help i have tried everything, i went to control panel / hardware & sound / game controllers and selected the saitek av8r and it had no calibration option and i dont know what to do please help
my computer recognizes the controller but when i go onto the flight simulator its totally unresponsive
Yes I have the exact same problem. Just got mine a few days ago, and it worked flawlessly for about the first day or two. Then the Y-axis somehow went screwy, and I've tried many times to recalibrate it, as well as trying it on one of my other computers and nothing seems to work. I'm considering taking it apart to see if there is anything inside that has come lose, etc.
Same y axis problem...won't calibrate. Manufacturer was no help. I've had it too long to return it. Any suggestions? The y axis is too high, and won't center.
I have a simular problem. The "Twist" or rudder is off to the right. It pulls. When I check the calibration it shows that it is off, but I dont see how to fix it...please help!!
I try to fly on my flight simulator, but the y-axis is about 1inch from the center and i don't know how to calaborate it. I could on my old joystick but there is no collaborate button. Could you help me?
