Question about Bernina Virtuosa 150
The Bernina Virtuosa 150 cannot get over bulky seams. Even moderately bulky seams are impossible without using the little plastic shims provided by the manufacturer. These are not efficient and must be moved along under the presser foot as the sewing advances.
Is there a modification, part, or adjustment that can be made to this machine to make it handle uneven layers of fabric?
Hi I have a 15 year old Frister Rossmann serger which I got second hand 10 years ago. It has had one break down which was my fault for not getting it serviced for 8 years. Not sure where in world you are. They sell as Frister Rossmann in UK and Europe and Kenmore in the US. I've used it mainly for dressmaking and soft furnishing projects. One more thought on the Bernina have you tried leaving a query / searching on the US Bernina website www.berninausa.com I use them alot. Try and stick with getting the Bernina sorted, I love mine!
