Problem for Apple iPhone Smartphone
Iphone doesn't connect to computer
ok so I have an unlocked iphone, firmware 1.1.4. i used ziphone to unlock it if that means anything. so all of a sudden my computer doesn't detect my phone anymore. it also doesn't charge when plugged in to the wall charger. the only way i can now get it to charge is to plug it in to my stereo system. it worked fine last night, and the only other app i installed was iphysics and some games for it, but i charged it after i installed it and that worked fine. someone please help, I really don't want to put my phone in recovery mode cuz if that doesn't work than i can't get it out of recovery mode, so thats sort of a last resort. also i can't take it to the apple store since its jailbroken, so i'm kinda stuck here

-I have the same problem. Got firmware 2.1 though. Also Jailbreaked and now my computer doesnt recognize it. I can charge it with a wall charger. I think it all started when I started adding apps from Cydia, but Im not sure since I dont connect it to my computer that much. - tobbem

- Hi I also have 1.1.4. firmware and I have jailbroken and activated my iphone with ziphone. After doing this I connected my iphone to my MacBook Pro with leopard and my computer doesn't recognize it. So by this time I don't really care if all my stuff is erased on my iphone. So I put it in recovery mode and try to restore it on my computer but a message pops up and it says there is an error 1604. Will someone please help me? i used ziphone too.
worked just fine before hand.
now nothing.
wont register to computer.
but mine will charge with wall charger.
the apple store would look at ours cuz its jailbroken?!
