I plugged my IPOD shuffle into the aux. input jack on the front. I kept hitting the SRC button, but it only switched between TUNER, CD, and STANDBY. I made sure the shuffle was ON, and playing ... but it NEVER said AUX/AUX EXT.
I'm reading the manual and can't figure out what they mean by setting the built-in auxillary input function in standby mode ... once it's in stand by mode I can't hit the menu button - I'll EXIT standby mode! I only bought this unit cuz I thought it would be easy to plug in the shuffle.

Cable Connect iPod iPhone MP3 Phone Audio to Mazda Car Player

Does your car player have a auxillary jack (looks like headphone hole)

or does it just have a tape player?

if it has an auxilary plug then you need to plug the cable from your ipod into that and set the stereo to aux for source.

if the car has a tape player go to the store and ask for the cassette that plugs into your headphone jack. then you can put that tape into the tapeplayer and plug the other end in your headphone port on the ipod and listen away

When i hook up my ipod to the kcu cable nothings happening and i cant even find an ipod source channel on the head unit itself

Is there an option for AUX or Auxilary input anywhere on the head? Try switching the input source through all possible settings while playing the ipod and ensuring the volume is on, to see if it plays.

Hello...I have an issue with my speakers. My husband ran our speaker wires from our computer to our stereo and I can't get it to produce sound please help!!!

Be sure you plugged the plugs into the right ports on the back of the stereo.

From the computer: ensure you plugged the cables into the Auxilary Out, or Out jacks of the sound card.

On the stereo: ensure you plugged the cables into any open set of Auxilary In jacks.

Once you verify your cables are plugged in correctly, verify the input on the stereo is set properly. Set your stereo's source or input to "Auxilary" or "Auxilary 1 or 2." This allows the stereo to pull input from the cables running into the appropriately selected Auxilary source.

That should help hopefully.

If you still can't get sound, double check your computer's sound card settings and be sure the sound card is working properly.

Is a kenwood kdc 135 have a aux. for ipod capability

Look on the back to see if there is an auxilary socket plus on the front of the unit, is there an aux button to allow an input from an auxilary device. If you dont have a manual I would go to Kenwoods web site and enter in the model and see if you can download a user manual.

Very little sound coming from driver side front and rear speakers, checked the balance and fade nothing is helping.vehicle is 2003 hyundai tiburon with infiniti sound system

the chance is maybe the speaker is blown, or wires crossed, if it is an aftermarket head unit, and or you use an aux cord to listen to an ipod or something like that as your music, that is most likely the auxilary cord is bad or cheap, happened with my car also

Playing my ipod on AUX mode????!?!?!?!?!!!!??

HELLO, ON THE IPOD BOX ARE SEVERAL NUMBER CODES. THEY HAVE TO BE SET TO THE RIGHT NUMBERS ON OR OFF BEFORE THE FACTORY RADIO WILL READ THE BOX. ONCE THE CORRECT NUMBERS ARE SET FOR YOUR VEHICLE THE AUX BUTTON WILL WORK JUST FINE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE BOOK WITH THE CODES IN IT. JUST COUNT THE WIRES ON THE ADAPTOR AND THE LOCATION OF THE PINS THEY CONNECT TO. THEN PUSH ONLY THOSE PINS UP IN THE ON POSTION. GOOD LUCK!
