Hi. I think to be able to write on that disc again, It should be a CD Re-Writetable disc. If this Disc is only a CD-R then you could no longer write into this Disc, It should be a CD-RW. Hope This Helps

Where to find a CD-R longer than 80 minutea and way to burn it

You can't, that is the maximum for a CD-R or a CD+R = approx 700Mb capacity.
DVD-R and DVD+R have a capacity of 4.5Gb
Depending upon the type of data files you want to burn, there are compression techniques you and apply and then burn them to a CD.
For example you can convert CDs to mp3 music files and burn them onto a CD-+R disk. You can fit 12 to 16 CDs albums in mp3 format on a single CD-+R disc, but your CD player needs to be a MP3 player to play these music files.

Unable to burn movie to DVD/CD

You can't burn a DVD movie using a COMBO drive or Compact disc rewriter, change your movie format from DVD to VCD and then try again, I recommend you use nero to make/edit movie and ImgBurn to make ISO image and burn it onto disc.

Wont record on blank pc disks!

I had the same problem and found that I was using the wrong type of CDs. If you look on the CD you have to use the CD that says Compact disc digital audio Recordable or Compact disc digital audio Rewrittable. After I used the Digital ones I could record on it. I then tried the CD on the PC and it worked. You can look on the top of the unit and see the information if you still have it. Hope this helps you.

Formatting discs

Once the disc is FINALIZED, theres no way for the data to come off. If oyure burning from a computer, make sure you burn as DATA or AUDIO disk.......if the radio is MP3 compliant, then mp3 discs should work. The upside to mp3 discs is you can fit endless hours off music, but you loss sound quality from the compression.

CDs dont need to be "formatted" like hard drives or floppy discs. It's format is knows as red book, orange book......depending on the quality and manufacterer of the media.

If you have cheaper cds, like SONY, they can be problematic. Try TAIYO YUDEN or Microboards if you can get your hands on them.
