You might just need to replace your fuel pump. If you can hear the pump run, I'm not sure what pulling the fuse is supposed to do for you? The pump is just an electric motor, it either runs or it doesn't.
if you mean it started, ran until warm, shut it off, then it wouldnt start again, i had the exact same problem on a 2000 pontiac montana, i replaced the fuel filter, thought of the security system, then i found out 3 of the 6 cyls were misfiring. spark plugs and wires were replaced and that fixed it. get it diagnosed and see if any of your cylinders are misfiring because it could be causing the problem. and when i said i had the same problem, i mean it was word for word (minus replacing fuel pump) the exact same symptoms.
Considering it ran fine after pump replacement for awhile then it is probably a fuel issue. Couple things it could be. 1. you could have a ton of sediment in gas tank and it keeps clogging up your pump. 2. you could have blocked fuel filter and or clogged injectors.
was the fuel filter changed. and you should also check plugs and wires.for a missfire problem. if you dont get proper spark to plugs, it will misfire and be sluggish. have a good day !!
check your fuel filter. If it is plugged replace it. A plugged fuel filter can cause a fuel pump to have to work too hard & cause it to burn out prematurely
