Question about Car Audio & Video
I recently purchased a 2000 Fiat Bravo 1.2 16v sx, i'v been having trouble with the "intellegant search" radio, scan on / scan off keeps appearing on the screen and it skips songs on my cd player automatically and also when i am listening to the radio it skips stations all by its self, any soloutions to this problem please let me know, cheers
The radio requires TWO battery feeds.
One is a permanent battery feeding the code and station memory
The other is the main one via the Ignition Switch

Press the Menu button. At some point it'll put an 'M' next to the station frequency. Then hit the seek up and down button.

I am just taking a guess because I dont know what model this is. Your antenna wire could be loose in the back of unit, possibly when hitting buttons it knocked into place and now it has slipped out and needs to be proper put back in.

the model should probably be cdx followed by numbers. barring that the model # should be on the chassis of the deck. you could try pressing the reset switch (should either be a small indentation about the size of a pencil tip on the face, or a small hole on the subpanes behind the face. if there is no reset switch, you can reset it by disconnecting power for a few minutes.
