Generic problem for all PC Laptops
Install windows over GOS (by 2 users)

I can't seem to find a definitive yes or no answer .... Can i install windows- either 2000 or XP onto this machine? If so, how will it run? (as i have heard since it has 2g of ram, it may pose a problem)

i am having the same issue. i just got this computer and it has gOS- i hate it. and i just wanna install windows XP right over it. i checked the requirements listed and i have them all. i just would like to know if it worked out for you.

this is simple "yes"...i don't see why not...i would load Windows 2000 Pro or even XP Pro on there .. it will run nicely .. just look at the Specifications:-
