Acer 180 vista home basic D Drive has only 850 MBs remaining- cannot write dvds for back up not enough space

If you cannot delete unwanted files, fit another drive to your Acer. Get at least 120GB and copy or backup your files to it.

Slow is 512mb enough to support vista home basic


i personally would say no anymore i would reccomend at least 2gigs of flash memory for any operating system but the best place for you to get your answer for this would be from the windows site it self

Minimum requirement for vista


Windows Vista minimum supported system requirements Home Basic / Home Premium / Business / Ultimate:
800 MHz processor and 512 MB of system memory, 20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space, Support for Super VGA graphics, DVD-ROM drive.
But i recommend at least 1GB RAM for Vista Home Basic - Home Premium and at least 2GB RAM for the rest.

Low disc space


That means that your hard drive is full and it would be best if you transfer some or delete some files.

This seems like a hardware problem you are experiencing. I would suggest using them dvd cleaning acessories and if not, replace the drive.

Burner does not finalize discs

first check your harddisk capacity.then check c driver size if it is full partion of harddisk then u cant create new parion d
but it has still press space on it u can create d.
go to my computer right clik on it then manage.then disk management.then go to hardisk then create new partion that free space.

I had the same problem...I originally thought it might be a ram chip and I started testing them...Turns out that the second ram socket was bad and I just had to remove one of the ram chips.

you mean corrupt? Try to check your disk space of the drive to where you are installing! Maybe its not enough for the game you are installing or downloading! You have to free some space in the drive.

Not enough space to use Acer Backup Utility (Aspire 3000)


Cick browse after you have chosen to save and your external drive should show up on the pop up menu.The image you are trying to save may be of a format that is not recognizable by your external drive.Or you may have to choose which format you want to save it as from the source.
