Try the SD card in your computer, see if it is corrupted. If not, copy the files off of it and then re-format it - then try it in your phone.
If that does not work, try a fresh SD card in the phone (maybe borrow one?)
If that fails too, it may well be that the internal SD card reader in the phone has gone bad.
I have the same problem to beginning with. The new 2GB SD Micro card/with adapter didn't work at all. It didn't see it by window explorer. Others older once did work properly. Make sure you update your SD card reader driver to the latest version. It should be work. My did after updated the card reader driver.
Or update your all in once card reader if you have one.
Most PCs are like that. I don't know what it is but the computer won't do it for mine neither. To put music and such on you sd card for your phone you must format the card while it's in your phone. Goto setting, Memory, Card memory, then click on opions. From there it will say "Format Card". Do it and the lock code is the last four digits or your phone number. After that's done to load music and such you put the sd chip onto you computer and transfer music to the folder on the sd card called "My_music", pix to "My_pix", and so on....
if the card came with an adapter, then plug it into your computer using a key drive that can take SD cards, an adapter that you can plug in a USB port, or by plugging it directly into the computer (most desktops can do this now). Then go to the card in My Computer, right click on it. and hit properties. A window will pop up. look for a tab called tools, then look for an option called error checking. Run this. If this does not clear up the problem then go back to my computer, right click on the card again, then click "Format...". A Window will pop, up. leave all boxes unchecked and start the format. when its done, it SHOULD fix ur problem. if not then i have no clue.
