Question about 3M MP 8640 Multimedia Projector
We have a purplish hue showing up on screen. I work for the Illinois Department of Public Health. So far I have not been able to correct the problem. We are using the RGB1 connection as we always do and using the same laptop. There are 550 hours of time on the lamp. The filter has been cleaned. What could be causing the purplish hue and is there a fix for it?
Illinois Dept of Public Health
Illinos State Cancer Registry
Try using a different RGB cable , if this doesn't fix the problem you will have to get the Mainboard of the Projector either repaired or replaced.
