Question about Kodak EasyShare Z650 Digital Camera

Kodak Z650 mode button not changing settings

Currently when I turn on the camera it may be set to 'auto' but the camera says it is in 'sport' mode. Other positions of the mode button do not always change the setting or the setting is like one position off - in sport even though set to auto. Are the contacts bad ? Is it possible to open up the camera and clean the contacts on the mode switch (and eye/lcd switch) ?

Flash does not work on Kodak z650. no damage history. What can be done?I'm fairly adept at mechanical stuff.

To correct the flash problem, please do the following:
Turn off the camera.
Install a set of new or fully charged batteries into the camera.
Turn on the camera.
Press the Flash Status button to scroll through the flash options until Fill Flash (the lightning bolt icon alone, with no other letter or symbol) is displayed. This forces the camera to use the flash.

if problem still persist contact the tech num 18002356325

Hope this will help

Kodak M1033 does not recognize memory card

  1. Turn camera on
  2. Push the options/settings button (the button next to the view/playback button)
  3. On the Capture Screen move over to "Setup"
  4. Move down to "Image Storage" and make sure its set to "Auto" {if not select it and set it to Auto}
  5. If already set to Auto, change to Internal Memory.
  6. Power off and power back on then follow steps 1-4 to set back to Auto.
If this still doesn't work, backup pictures from internal memory to computer then delete all pictures on internal memery. Camera should automatically prompt you to change to memory card.
