The problem is you may not have the correct hardware for dualview monitors.

You may need to change your display adaptor to one that supports dual view. Here is a link that contains a list of display adaptors that support dualview in Windows XP.

We have install the nvidiageforce8400 driver during installation showing scatterd display on the lcd what i can do for that

That can not be the right driver for your video card. I suggest you roll back to its previous driver. Look for the latest version of the driver for your video card.

I have an S-video cable ran to my tv and it only shows I have one moniter installed. I have my moniter as well as the S-video cable plugged into the pny card. should it be that way? I have also just bought...

First thing to do is to lower the resolution to say 800x600

call up the Nvidia control panel by right clicking on an empty part of the desktop and click the Nvidia CONTROL PANEL

there are two methods one is the MULTIPLE DISPLAY WIZARD (Just follow it through and it will do most of the work for you)

OR

Use the SET UP MULTIPLE DISPLAYS option. (my choice)

It is better to select the "CONFIGURED INDEPENDANTLY" option often knows as dual view.

Below that are two boxes the first sets the order of the display. Set it so your regular monitor is first on the list.

the box below that selects the PRIMARY display normally leave this to your default monitor until you have finished setting up both displays.

when you have two displays then go to the "CHANGE RESOLUTION" (still in the Nvidia panel not the regular display panel)

click on the display you want to change and alter to suit your taste.
now do the same for the other display.

If you get an "out of range" error drop the resolution as you are trying to do more than the display can handle

There are similar procedures for other makes of graphic cards.

Try avoid the VGA to component leads as they are hit and miss in this type of application.

S-Video is quite good

your best option is DVI and it the one I use to drive a 50" sony

You have to let your card know about other displays using the steps above or similar

Cant connect pc to tv monitor

Hello,

Do you have ans S-Video port on the computer and the TV?. Does your TV have a VGA port? You must open the AV option of your TV (with the remote controller) and select the input to TV as S-Video or PC depending on the Computer-TV connction. On your computer use the graphics option so as to send the screen output to the two devices or just to the TV.

If you configure your TV and connect it to the computer before turning the computer on, the output will probably go to the TV.

Hope it helps

Laptop dispalys to monitor but laptop panel cannot be activate

Hi,

Thanks for all the details..

The issue seems to be with the video card drivers here...

Go to www.hp.com/suport and download the latest video card and the chipset drivers

before you download ...uninstall the nvidia chipset or any display software from program and features.

after you have installed the software.. go to the nvidia control panel > setup multiple monitors. and browse throughout the options >
It should be dual display and not extended display.

Also try with a new user profile...

Hope this helps..

Anup

Question about dual video output on ATI Radeon 9250 256mb PCI.

just look at your video card if it has at least a vga port and an s-video/composite or another vga port then yes you can do multiple display, if it has the s-video you can get an inexpensive s-video to composite adapter for those older tv's

Foxconn WinFast 6100K8MB-RS

Hi tecnoreaper, you're Foxconn 6100K8MB-RS motherboard can use a single PCI-E x16 graphics card. As seen in you're manual on pg. 4, motherboard layout. If you do not have you're manual you can download it from the link below.
http://www.foxconnchannel.com/EN-US/support/downloads.aspx?ProductModel=6100K8MB-RS&TypeID=en-gb0000001

After instaling you're PCI-E graphics card you will need to enter you're bios & set "Init Display First" setting to PCIE page 41 in you're manual.
Here are a few PCI-E x16 cards you may want to buy.
I do know that XFX GeForce cards do carry a Lifetime warranty.
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/category/category_slc.asp?CatId=1558&name=PCI-Express-Video-Cards
At the bottom of this link you can pick the total ammount of memory you prefer you're graphics card to have.
Foxconn suggest you use any one of these PCI-E cards.
http://www.foxconnchannel.com/product/GraphicCards/index.aspx
but you can choose what ever you wish.
Mai web site for you're 6100K8MB-RS board.

or
Move application window to the monitor you want it to be displayed on, close he application and reopen it.
