Jeep Problem

By Cornish - usenet poster

There is a small seel on the back of the transfercase, simply remove
the drive shaft, use a seal puller to pull the seal and use a rubber
mallet to work a new one in, the seal will be less then $10Cnd and
then top of the transfer case with the approriate fluid.  This is also
a good time to inspect the U-Joints on the rear drive shaft.  You
should be able to borrow a seal puller from most auto parts store.
This is a really really easy thing to do..  Just ask for the rear
transfercase output shaft seal.

Also the other pictures -- I'd take a serious look at your outter tie
rod end there it may need some attention.

Allthough I highly doubt any of these problems will relate to your
current problems, by they should be attented to.
