Question about Audio Players & Recorders
The problem is most likely a short or an impedence match problem. Make sure that you do not have any wires touching and make sure that your speaker that you are hooking up is rated at a impedence your receiver is capable of. Most receivers like 8 OHMs, so that might be a start. If your speaker is rated at a lower impedence than your receiver then you might have a problem if it is higher then you should be fine.
