Question about Goldstar KG6000R Window Air Conditioner
Would it be ok of I put the air conditioner in my window sideways?
Not really, the condenser must be able to draw air from the outside and must stay outside, sideways the A/C will not function properly.

Not really unless you can divertthe hot air from the back side to the outside and and the cool air and intake to the inside, you could do it with some clear tape and some plastic sheeting , but better to build a frame to hold it outside facing in two L brackets then tape it up with some thick plastic.

If I understand you, you are trying to install the A/C unit in a sliding window, yes?
They make a window unit specifically designed for these kinds of windows. You cannot use a standard A/C unit and you can't run it on its side.
