Question about Skylink Group Skylink G6KR Keypad Transmitter Set
Pressed but when the learn button is pressed it does not light up. I have a key pad that I would like to program as well as two car units. This garage door opener is older and I am wondering if that is why the smart button will not flash. or do I just need a new smart button.

SOURCE: setting garage door opener
You should be able to press the button on the receiver and then press the button on the remote if the batteries are good. The skylink group can be found at skylinkhome.com Thanks BB

Tips for a great answer:
NOTE: This method requires two people if the Keyless Entry is already mounted outside the garage.
Change an Existing, Known PIN
If the existing PIN is known, it may be changed by one person without using a ladder.
The motor unit lights will blink once when the PIN has been learned.
Test by pressing the new PIN, then press ENTER. The door should move.
Your new Keyless Entry must be programmed to operate your garage door opener
