Even if you configured the program to keep you signed in, whenever your internet connection fails, you'll need to sign in again or every time you turn on your computer. If you keep you computer on for 2 weeks without any connection failure, then definitely, it'll work for you, but I am afraid that any internet connection will continuously keep connected without any interruption. Good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

Bought a second hand computer.cannot remove the previous owners yahoo.id on signing in.How can i make my yahoo id the default.

Make sure that when you sign in you check the "Keep me signed in" Box located right below where you enter your password. Then go to "Account Info" and go to "Change Sign In Settings". Make sure that you have "2 weeks" selected, as this will keep you signed in for 2 weeks at a time without being automatically signed out.

ok.. i understood your problem..when you go to the sign-in page for yahoo mail, you may see the check box for "keep me signed in for 2 weeks" option. just see below for the option. once you checked for that option, it is always on. wile you sign in, UN-check that box. i have given a picture for your reference.I believe this one is helpful. f803c9b.jpg

Almost everytime i go into my e-mail acct i have to sign in instead of every 2 weeks. how can i change this?

Ensure you check the box to remain signed in for 2 weeks, and be sure you do not delete your Browser Cookies, or use another program that clears these for you.

I have to sign in every time I check my mail. I check my mail at least four times a day. rosalee_boddy2000@yahoo.com

This could be due to a few issues.

One on your internet explorer options, you may have it set to delete cookies everytime it closes.

Two, you may not be checking the box that says keep me signed in for two weeks when you sign into yahoo mail.

If you are checking the box, then it is definetly the cookies setting on internet explorer. Go into the tools menu, internet options, and change it to where it doesnt delete settings and temporary cookies when you close internet explorer.

Also, when you are done checking your yahoo mail, do not click on sign out, or that will cause you to sign in everytime, and one final note.

After you are done using internet explorer to check you yahoo mail, dont close the internet explorer page, just type in maybe google.com or something of the sort. And leave the internet explorer window open.

( you can minimize it if you like)

MY SIGN IN FOR E-MAIL WILL NOT STAY FOR A DAY and..... my spell check will not work.

Try going back to Yahoo classic mail. Many of us had problems using the new mail and the spell check doesn't work. With the classic, I stay signed in for 2 weeks, the spell check works, and it works with the psp. I think they can keep the new mail. It sucks.
