the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Hello, I am looking to replace my Uniden cordless phone battery EXA14248. Do you have it??

I have searched various stores which carry battery replacements.I even searched uniden.com .We had the same problem with our old phone.Your phone seems to be outdated enough so that there are no replacement batteries.Us too.I think the makers do it on purpose to sell newer phones as much as possible.Wish I had better news but those are the facts. The new technology is DECT 6.0 phones which actaually works at 1.9 GHz.Kind of strange since the previous products were 5.8 GHz.But DECT is supposed to have wider range to walk around your house with, clearer sound and a couple of other "advantages".If you do decide to buy DECT,do some research. There are forums all over the web where people give opinions/reviews of ones they have already bought and are using.Just google DECT phones and all kinds of stuff appears.AT&T's seemed to have the better reviews but there are a couple of others which rated well also.I have had numerous Unidens, and you think they would improve, but I have been disappointed and will never buy another Uniden, however the decision is yours.Wish I had better news.Good luck! Greg

Problems with Panasonic Uniden EXA14248 2.4 Ghz Phone, it fell in a bucket of water. how can I bring it back to life? the base rings but I don't get anything from the remote phone.

You have to disassemble it as far as you can...and then totally dry it out..immeresed in water is almost a death sentence because it will short out...so don't get your hopes up.

Take the battery out right away, dry it off..REAL GOOD...there must be no liquid residue on the battery...might use a hair dryer... set it on a paper towel....hold on to the phone and "sling" it so you can remove as much "standing" water as you can, you don't want any large quantities of water inside...then grab some Q-tips wedge them inside hard to reach areas...collect as much water as possible, sling...swab...sling...swab...watch out for leaving any cotton behind...you will have left over mositure so let it sit at room temp, turning it over every 4 hours or so...for at least 24 hours.

Sounds sorta silly...but I've saved things silimar before that didnt short out right off. Good luck!
When you are sure its dry...totally dry...install the battery and plug it in.
