Its not supporting the resolution.
Try updating your video driver for the computer.

When I log in to my screen name it says preparing desktop and goes to this blue screen when it's suppose to be my desktop. I left it on all night and stayed on this screen but I can go to the task man

2 things...
first in task manager hit "New Task" and type "explorer" and hit enter see if that brings the desktop up

2nd on boot up hit the f8 key and startup in safe mode

either way when you get to your desk top find the last good back up and do a system restore

When I log into my user it says preparing desktop and then goes to this screen when it's suppose to be my desktop. What should I do now?

this is common after an update. leave it for up to half an hour and see if it goes to desktop. if it does not then reboot it and try again. after a second attempt hold down control on start up and when a boot menu appears select last know good configuration,
let me know if that works for you

Change input timing for monitor when i can't do anything

Hi Austin
it sounds as though you have a problem with your graphics card drivers and your tv will not accept the lower resolution. Do you have another screen that you can connect to prove/disprove my theory? If your tv will not accept the lower resolution input then you need another screen to enable you to sort it out. Hope this is helpful.

HOW DO I GET THE BLUE BOX ON MY SHARP AQUOS LCD TV TO STOP POPUP

This happens when you are connecting with a coaxial cable. If possible you will need to connect your set top box to the television with a composite/RCA cable and watch tv on input 2 instead of on input tv.

My Toshiba Satellite A215-S7413 laptop randomly goes to a blue screen with lots of white writing on it. I never have time to read it because it goes away so quickly. After the screen goes away it restarts...

Try going to Start - Run.
Type sfc /scannow in the run line and hit enter or click ok.
A dialog will pop up that says "Windows File Protection"
Allow this to run and insert the Win XP CD if requested.
Hopefully this will resolve your issue!

If warranty - call it in. Otherwise it sounds like a classic case of bad ram. Find a friend with similar ram in his/her desktop and do a test swap to see if symptoms repeat if you want. Then replace the ram with new. It happens for no reason, or at least nothing you did caused it. Basically it's a page in or out error with the ram causing windows to "freak out" and pop up an error.
You can get a good selection of ram from tigerdirect.com or newegg.com.

Input not supported

Do you get anything on the screen when you first turn on your computer?

If you do the windows resolution somehow got set to high for the screen to handle. To fix this press the F8 key a couple times after the BIOS splash screen goes away ( The screen that has HP or DELL, etc on it). If done at the right time it will bring you to a menu that has several options including safe mode. You'll want to pick " Enable VGA mode." From there it will start to load Windows, but everything on the screen will be large. Once windows is fully loaded find a empty spot on your desktop and right click. From the menu that pops up please select Properties. It will open up a box that says "Display Properties." Click the tab that says Settings. On this tab move the resolution slider to right right a click or two to make the monitor normal size and click apply.
