Question about Sony KE-P42M1 42 in. Plasma Television
Sony KE-P42M1 42in plasma TV....only three years old now. Perfect picture but no sound. No help from troubleshooters in brochure.. Help!

it is posible to repair ...but it is very coastly . you are going to repair this plasma same price u will get new plasma .it is my best idea

The pixels in that line are badly commanded by the corresponding buffer circuit. Since this is a vertical line then the buffer circuit is on the Y-sus board which you will have to replace as a whole. Unfortunately finding a replacement board for this very old tv will be extremely difficult and expensive. I think it's time to start looking for a new one, it will be cheaper than fixing the current one.
